Hall back in blue and amber for 2024
Leeds Rhinos 2022 Players’ Player of the Season, Amelia Hall, has re-signed for the club after a year out from playing.
The mid-courter, who is a former Manchester Thunder training partner, made her Netball Super League debut with the Rhinos in their first season back in 2021 and made 12 appearances that season. In her second campaign with Leeds her performances earned her a regular spot in the squad, with 12 starts and eight appearances off the bench. She was rewarded with a number of Player of the Match awards and gained recognition from her team mates as Players’ Player of the Year.
Speaking about her return to the Rhinos Hall said: “I am so excited to be returning to the Rhinos. I took a year away from the game to travel Australia and New Zealand but I was keen to reunite with the Rhinos as I loved my first two years at the club. I am looking forward to meeting my new team mates and it’s going to be great to work with and learn from Liana Leota. It can't wait to be competing again in the Netball Super League and I am ready for the challenge ahead.”
Leeds Rhinos Director of Netball, Liana Leota said: “Amelia returns after a year out of the game and we are thrilled she has chosen to come back to Leeds. She was one of the stand-out players for the Rhinos in 2022 and I am sure Rhinos fans will be pleased to see her back on court with us.
“She offers us a great work ethic and is consistent over 60 minutes. She is intuitive in attack and can feed, but her work rate, ability to get free and her speed across the court is something I am excited about. I am really looking forward to what Amelia can offer and how she returns to Super League.”
