Former clubs: Chester NC

Goal attack Sophie Kimpton started playing netball through her mum. She joined Chester netball club and remembers playing in her first tournament when she was seven. Her most memorable netball moment though is featuring for Turnford in the Under-14s national final against Oldham in 2018. Chester Netball's link with Wasps Netball saw Kimpton earn a place in their academy and she won the franchise's Stafford Hub player of the year award in 2020. She was named in Wasps' Under-19s for 2021 but made the change to join Rhinos Netball's Under-19s for 2022.
