Rhinos Netball NPL Squad 2022: Under-17s

Goal shooter Freya Anderson is representing Kingston Netball Club in Leeds Rhinos Netball's Under-17s this season.
Anderson started to play netball while she was at primary school and after she was spotted by a local club coach, she decided to join Kingston Netball Club to learn more about the sport. In 2020, she was one of four players from Kingston to successfully trial for Rhinos Netball's Under-15s before she joined the Under-17s in 2022.
She also featured in the National Club finals in Warwick last year and finishing seventh overall against the best performance club teams in the country.
She credits her club coach Jo Richardson who has supported Anderson's development throughout her time at the club. As far as players are concerned though, she is inspired by the likes of England shooter Helen Housby and Australia attacker Caitlin Basset.
Anderson currently goes to school at The Marvell College in Hull.
