NIC Leeds Rhinos Netball have revealed the signing of Yorkshire-born goal keeper Jasmine Brown after an outstanding 2025 season that saw her named the Netball Super League team of the Season and named in the Roses programme.
Born in Doncaster, she has Australian and Jamaican heritage, and only switched to playing netball six years ago, having dedicated her early sporting career to tennis.
Her first taste of netball was at Doncaster Rebels before joining Charnwood after moving to the Midlands to study sports psychology at Loughborough University. Here she won back-to-back BUCS titles.
She made her Netball Super League debut in 2023 for Severn Stars and last year was part of the first Birmingham Panthers squad. Her club form earned her a call up for the Future Roses squad for 2024-25. She was also named in the England A squad as part of the Vitality Roses’ preparations for the Vitality Netball Nations Cup in January 2025.
