A Beginner’s Guide to Family Day with Leeds Rhinos

Join us for Family Day as NIC Leeds Rhinos Netball host London Mavericks at the Canon Medical Arena on Saturday 2^nd May, First Centre Pass 7.30pm.

If you’ve found your way here, it’s probably because your fun filled Bank Holiday weekend includes plans to our first ever Family Day fixture or you’ve heard junior tickets are just £5 and want to join in - either way, you’re in the right place!

Here’s everything you need to know before joining us for the best night of netball (spoiler alert, it involves T-shirt cannons, K-Pop Demon Hunter Super Fans and a whole lot more of fun):

A Night at the Netty concept

A Night at the Netty is the definitive netball experience - a mix of action-packed Netball, dance-offs, rave intervals and an atmosphere you won’t get anywhere else. It’s immersive, inclusive and built for making memories. And yes, we will ask you to get up and rave so wear suitable footwear!

Arrive Early, it’s 2-4-1

Doors open at 4.00pm, and your ticket gives you access to more than just one game. Before the Netball Super League action begins, our NIC Leeds Rhinos NXT Gen squad take on the Mavericks NXT Gen side, FCP 4.30pm. NIC Leeds Rhinos then play London Mavericks, FCP 7.30pm.

The Fan Zone experience

Headlining Family Day is special guest Goldie, a K-POP Demon Hunters super fan. Goldie will be in the fan zone for photos and autographs before taking to the court to lead a singalong to Golden - so if you don’t already know the words, this is your notice to start practising!

There’s plenty more to enjoy with face painting available and the chance to create your own netball sign to take into the arena. Everyone’s favourite mascot, Ronnie the Rhino, will also be on hand for photo opportunities.

Wear your dancing shoes

This isn’t just a night of netball.

You will rave, you will shake it off with Taylor Swift and You will sing Golden with Goldie at the top of your voices.
