Fan Information - Rhinos Netball v Team Bath

Leeds Rhinos Netball play Team Bath at the Canon Medical Arena in Sheffield on Friday 17th May, FCP 7.30pm.  Doors open at 4.45pm and below is all the essential information for fans attending the game. 

HOW CAN I PURCHASE TICKETS FOR THIS FIXTURE?

Tickets can be purchased online at tickets.rhinosnetball.co.uk up until 12pm on Friday 17th May. This is subject to availability. Alternatively, tickets can be purchased by calling Leeds Rhinos Ticket Office on 0371 423 1315 (10am-4pm, Monday – Friday excluding Bank Holidays), or in person from Leeds Rhinos Club Shop at AMT Headingley Stadium during opening hours - https://www.therhinos.co.uk/headingley-stadium/opening-hours/

Tickets will be available to purchase at the venue subject to availability via card or contactless payment methods only.

SEATING

Seating at Canon Medical is unreserved and accessed on a first come first served basis.  Where possible, Rhinos Netball will reserve seating areas for group bookings made in advance. Volunteers will be on hand to direct individuals and groups to the relevant seating areas.

ACCESSIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Fans requiring accessibility support at the venue can contact rhinosnetball@therhinos.co.uk in advance of the fixture or make themselves known to a volunteer at the ticket desk on arrival who will support with accessing the venue.

WHAT TIME DO DOORS OPEN?

Access to the venue is via the main reception. Doors will open at 4.45pm to fans. Fans should go to the ticket desk on arrival, where their e-tickets will be checked. All fans will be issued with a wristband to allow access in and out of the main hall.

WHAT IS ON BEFORE THE NETBALL SUPER LEAGUE GAME?

Leeds Rhinos are hosting a friendly fixture between a Leeds Rhinos Pathway mixed team and DNC. This takes place from 5pm before the Netball Super League Fixture. Access to this fixtures is included in your ticket. No access is permitted to watch the friendly without a match ticket for the Rhinos Netball Super League match.

As we build up to first-centre pass for this Netball Super League Fixture, fans can visit our fanzone to:

  • Grab a picture with everyone’s favourite mascot, Ronnie the Rhino
  • Get your game face on at our face painting and glitter station
  • Send a message to your favourite Rhino via Rhino Mail
  • Visit our poster-making table and create your own Rhinos team poster
  • Hear from our Rhinos DJ, who will be playing tunes in the arena

CAN I MOVE AROUND THE VENUE?

Fans will be directed to seating areas by volunteers. During the game we ask that fans remain in their seat and away from the field of play.

DIGITAL TICKETS

Leeds Rhinos Netball tickets are either Print @ Home or can be used on smartphones. Fans will have received a PDF version of their ticket on their email. Please open the PDF and have it ready at the barcode for checking at the ticket desk. If you have purchased more than one ticket, you will need to open each individual PDF for checking.

 

TRAVELLING TO THE VENUE

Please ensure however you choose to travel to the venue you do it safely and where possible sustainably. Doors will open at 4.45pm so please allow extra time to arrive early at the venue and help with the safe entry for all fans into the ground. For full venue details please visit the link below.

 

PARKING

Car Parking is available on-site. It is operated by a third party and charged at £5 per vehicle, cash and card payments accepted, payments made to stewards on arrival. Parking is available for minibuses at this car park on a first come first served basis.

 

Fans are unable to pre-book parking for this event. Anyone requiring disabled parking for this fixture should contact rhinosnetball@therhinos.co.uk ahead of the fixture.

 

FOOD & DRINK

Canon Medical Arena has a number of concessions open to fans throughout the event, serving a selection of hot and cold snacks, soft drinks and alcohol via card payment only.

Fans are not permitted to bring their own food and drinks to the venue for consumption.

We ask that all fans respect the venue and use the rubbish bins provided.

 

CAN I BRING A BAG?

Canon Medical Arena does not have a cloakroom or storage facility on site. Backpacks, holdalls, suitcases and any bag larger than an A4 piece of paper are not allowed in the venue. Bag searches may take place on arrival at the venue.

Fans with accessible and medical requirements/equipment will be considered on an individual basis but are encouraged to contact Leeds Rhinos in advance for ease of entry at rhinosnetball@therhinos.co.uk.

 

MERCHANDISE

We will have a small range of merchandise available for fans to purchase at the venue – this is available using contactless payment only.

 

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Blue and Amber - if you’re supporting Leeds Rhinos of course!

 

SMOKING

Smoking, vaping and e-cigarettes are not permitted in the venue. Anyone wishing to smoke or vape should do so outside the venue.

 

RESPECT OUR STAFF

We ask that all visitors to the venue treat staff, officials and volunteers with respect and patience. Leeds Rhinos Netball staff have the right to remove any fan who they believe is acting inappropriately so please be kind.
