Fan Information - Rhinos Netball v Loughborough Lightning

Leeds Rhinos Netball play Loughborough Lightning at the the first direct Arena in Leeds on Sunday 28th April, FCP 4pm.  Doors open at 2.30pm and below is all the essential information for fans attending the game. 

HOW CAN I PURCHASE TICKETS IN ADVANCE? 

Tickets can be purchased online at by clicking here up until 2.30pm on Sunday 28th April (subject to availability). Alternatively, you can visit tickets.rhinosnetball.co.uk and click the link for First Direct Arena Tickets under HOME GAMES.

CAN I PURCHASE TICKETS ON MATCHDAY? 

At the Box Office– Fans can purchase tickets at the First Direct Arena Box Office from 1.30pm-4.15pm on Sunday 28th April (subject to availability). Payment is available by credit or debit card only. Contactless payments and cash are not accepted as payment at the Box Office.

SEATING

WHAT TIME DO DOORS OPEN? 

Access to the venue is via the fans entrance at the front of the arena. Doors will open at 2.30pm for fans who must present their ticket to access the venue. If you have not received your tickets for the event, please contact your point of purchase.

WHAT IS ON BEFORE THE NETBALL SUPER LEAGUE GAME?

Fans can enjoy a range of pre-match activities including face painting, live music, giveaways and so much more!

CAN I MOVE AROUND THE VENUE? 

Tickets at First Direct Arena are for reserved seats which are allocated at time of purchase. We ask all fans sit in their allocated seat for the duration of the event when inside the arena, which is detailed on their ticket.  Food and drink concessions are available around the venue for fans to use during the event and access to these will be available throughout.

Fans should be aware that the breaks during the game are only 4mins at quarter/three-quarter time and 12mins at half time.

There are over 7,500 car parking spaces within a 15 minute walk of the arena and although the arena doesn't have its own car park, there are lots of options nearby.

FOOD & DRINK 

The First Direct Arena has a number of concessions that will be open to fans on match day. The concessions serve a variety of drinks (soft drinks & alcohol) and snacks.  Fans are not permitted to bring their own food and drinks into the arena and bags will be searched on entry to the venue. The concessions will accept payment by credit / debit card or smartphone only. Please do not bring cash.

MERCHANDISE

We will have a small range of merchandise available for fans to purchase at the venue – this is available using contactless payment only and can be found at the merchandise stands on Level 1 and Level 2.

MATCH DAY PROGRAMMES / TEAMSHEETS

No programmes will be produced for this fixture. All up to date team news will be available via www.netball.therhinos.co.uk or via our social channels (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram)

CAN I BRING A BAG?

The First Direct Arena does not have a cloakroom or storage facility on site. Backpacks, holdalls, suitcases and any bag larger than 35cm(w) x 40cm(h) x 19cm(d) are not allowed in the venue.

Fans with accessible and medical requirements/equipment will be considered on an individual basis but encouraged to contact the venue in advance for ease of entry.

All remaining bags will be searched. All attendees will be asked to pass through a metal detector before entering the venue.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR? 

Something Blue and Amber (if you are supporting Rhinos of course!)

SMOKING 

Smoking, vaping and e-cigarettes are not permitted in the venue. Anyone wishing to smoke or vape should do so outside the venue.

RESPECT OUR STAFF 

We ask that all visitors to the venue treat staff, officials and volunteers with respect and patience. Leeds Rhinos Netball staff and First Direct Arena staff have the right to remove any spectator who they believe is acting inappropriately so please be kind. 

BROADCAST 

This fixture will be broadcast live on Sky Sports YouTube from 4pm.
