Rhinos Roadshow with Geva Mentor now on sale

Netball fans we have something very special coming up this Spring – the chance to learn from Rhinos Netball captain and England Netball legend Geva Mentor on our first-ever Rhinos Roadshows.

In April and May, Leeds Rhinos Foundation will be taking their new special masterclass sessions out into the community, hitting Goole, York, Leeds and Wakefield.

The sessions will run between 6pm and 7.30pm and are for netballers aged 14-18 years old and also sessions for 18+ 7.30pm-9pm.  Participants will get a coaching session led by Geva Mentor alongside one of her Rhinos teammates and this will be followed by a Q&A, photos and signings.

There is also an option for those who are unable to take part in the session but would like to observe and join in the Q&A and signing session.

Sessions will be fun and interactive to give participants a good workout and allowing them to come away feeling like they have developed a new skill or enhanced current skills even further.  It is also an opportunity for those players who also coach, to learn more about how to deliver a high-level session to stretch and challenge individuals.

The Roadshows will be £40 and everyone who signs up will also get a FREE pair of socks from the club’s official kit supplier Oxen.

Speaking about the Roadshows, Mentor said: "I am looking forward to getting out across Yorkshire to meet all the young netball players on our new Rhinos Roadshows.  It has been clear to see since my time in the county that Netball is thriving in Yorkshire and it's brilliant to see how many people are participating in the sport.  

"For the Roadshows we have designed a fun and engaging session which I hope all aspiring netballers will get a lot out of and I can't wait to share some of my own knowledge and tips from my experience of playing for England and in Super League and the Suncorp Super Netball League. See you there."
