The Game Plan – Leeds Rhinos v Cardiff Dragons

Be there to cheer on the Rhinos as they take on Cardiff Dragons in their first home game of the season at Sheffield’s Canon Medical Arena, FCP 3pm. Aside from the action on court here’s what you can expect:

Doors to the venue open at 12.15pm with North Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire and Humberside all taking part in the curtain raiser fixture.

There are plenty of activities to be enjoyed by all the family in the Rhinos Fan Zone. Fans can visit the face painting and glitter station to get their game face on before visiting the Rhinos Skills Hub to brush up on their footwork and movement in time to watch the girls enter court for warm-up.

This year supporters can send a good luck message to their favourite Rhinos player via the new Rhino Mail as well as designing their own poster to display at the poster-making table.

The Rhinos merchandise stall will be open with brand new 2024 merchandise so there will be plenty on offer for fans to get kitted out and look the part. And of course, it isn’t a Rhinos game day without everyone’s favourite mascot Ronnie the Rhino!

Finally, supporters are encouraged to get here early as the Rhinos DJ pumps the tunes before First Centre Pass. In between the quarters the crowd are encouraged to join in the dancing to join in with the YMCA and warm up their vocals for a sing along. There is also a brand new half-time game which will see two lucky participants win some Rhinos merch.

Post game, the team will be around for photographs and autographs after their cool down so stick around to meet the players.
