Liana Leota’s side will be aiming to build on their win against Team Bath when they take on Severn Stars in the first of their final two games on the road to end the 2023 Netball Super League season.
This will be the sixth meeting between the teams and in those games Leeds won the first four before Stars secured their first win over the Rhinos earlier this season.
Stars come into the game on the back of three wins but are heading for their best finish since 2019 after finishing bottom last season.
Former Rhinos player Sigi Burger has been one of the competition’s top goal scorers this year with 634 goals with a 91.71% shot accuracy– she is enjoying her best-ever season in the NSL this year with Stars and sits third in the shooting standings, she has also teamed up well with Jess Shaw who made 483 feeds. It’s a club familiar to Rhinos stars Paige Reed and Nia Jones who have both played for the club and of course head coach who played her final Super Legaue game their last season.
